As a CNA you will
- The therapy technician must be a certified nursing assistant and have a certificate in physical and occupational rehabilitation.
- These certifications must be in place before being hired
- Exhibits service-oriented behaviors and actions to help provide a pleasant and supportive environment for those we serve.
- Observe and report any changes in resident’s physical/emotional condition to the licensed nurse
- Transport patients to and from the therapy department.
- Carry out such treatment programs as are predetermined for each patient and delegated to him/her by the supervising therapist.
- Develop restorative programs.
- Attend a minimum of 12 annual hours of in-service education
- Promote and respect the dignity and well-being of each resident and their family
We are currently looking for Rehabilitation Aide to join our team! To qualify you need a:
- 2 years of experience as a rehabilitation aid and 1 year of experience as a physical and occupational rehabilitation aid.
- Certified nursing assistant and certificate in physical and occupational rehabilitation
- Must enjoy working with the senior population
- Must enjoy working as part of a team
