Franciscan Ministries is currently looking for a A.R. Supervisor located at our Home Office in Lemont, Illinois!  As the A.R. Supervisor you will provide training and be a liaison between our communities. Ensuring the business office managers, MDS coordinators process all information is accurate and submitted in timely manner.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for training, support, and supervision of the Accounts Receivable Clerks
• Medicare billing: generation of UB-04 for Part-A,  Part-B & Managed Care; submission to intermediary system; follow-up on all denials and requests for additional information
• Process Medicaid documentation such as Admission packages, Discharges, Income Change, Level of Care Changes as needed for the Illinois communities and follow up as needed
• Provide support to assigned communities as needed not limited to; provide training as needed; set up new payors as required; adjust account as needed
• Ensures that timely and maximized payments are received on residents’ accounts by tracking triple check process; run Medicaid eligibility inquires as needed
• Responds to, follows up with and pursues all questions, issues and problems that may impact full payment and collection of resident accounts.
• Completes monthly closing process, reviewing AR Aging reports; run closing reports as needed; complete monthly collection reports
• Acts as liaison with community business office manager and MDS coordinator to ensure essential information is accurate and received timely
• Any and all duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED      

• Vocational School, Jr. College, etc.
• Associates Degree in Accounting (Minimum)
• BA Degree in related areas or relevant experience can substitute
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility billing/accounts receivable, management/collections. Proficient in computerized billing software programs and Microsoft.  Knowledge of nursing home Medicare and Medicaid billing.
