The Village at Victory Lakes, a part of Franciscan Ministries, is hiring a Director of Plant Operations to direct and oversee Plant Operations, Maintenance, Housekeeping Manager and security functions in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements with in our community. We currently have a full time position available.

Hours available in Skilled Nursing

Location: The Village at Victory Lakes, 1055 E Grand Ave, Lindenhurst, IL 60046 - – approx. 8 miles from Six Flags in Gurnee, IL

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plans, organizes, develops, implements and directs the Maintenance Department and its' programs and activities
• Manages all capital projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to safety, state, and federal regulations during process. Serves as liaison to contractors, vendors, and corporate office.
• Oversees the safety, security and fire protection and prevention programs in accordance with company policies, state, federal, county and OSHA regulations to ensure facility and grounds are maintained to provide a safe and comfortable environment.
• Oversees preventative maintenance functions and assigns appropriate personnel to complete tasks in a timely manner throughout our community, which includes the Heath Care Center, Assisted Living, Independent Living, and the Prairie Homes
• Part of Senior Leadership at Victory Lakes and Safety Officer for campus

Required skills and qualifications:

• Associates Degree or 6-8 years of work experience in related field
• Knowledge of building codes, HVAC, boilers, compressors, generators, various mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems
• Knowledge of state, federal and OSHA regulations for long-term care facilities.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
• Must enjoy working with the senior population
