Mount Alverna Village, part of Franciscan Ministries, is a vibrant senior living community located in Parma, Ohio. We are a continuing care retirement community (CCRC), offering a variety of senior lifestyle options including independent living, memory support assisted living, and skilled nursing/ long-term care. Additionally, the onsite rehabilitation clinic offers inpatient and outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapies, and state-of-the-art programs designed to enhance the quality of life for residents and patients in the local community. We are currently looking for a Housekeeper to join our team!

As an Environmental Services Technician-Housekeeper you will be responsible for:

• Dust, Mop and Sweep Floors.
• Scrub floors, Buff, Polish Furniture, Clean Equipment.
• Empty, Wash and re-line waste baskets
• Clean light fixtures, vents, registers, Vacuum and scrub carpets.
• Clean common areas
• Clean Occupied and Un-Occupied resident rooms and washrooms.
• Clean Private and Public Washrooms.
• Keep storage area, cart and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Maintains supplies at a required level as determined by the Department Director and Supervisor.
• All other duties as assigned.

We are currently looking for an Environmental Services Technician-Housekeeper to join our team! To qualify you need a:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous housekeeping experience a plus
• Must be able to work rotating weekends and holidays as needed
• Must be reliable, energetic and self-motivated who truly enjoys working with the senior population
• Great attendance
