Franciscan Village, a part of Franciscan Ministries, is hiring Caregivers, Resident Care Assistants who are customer and patient focused to become a part of a health care company whose mission is to celebrate life and serve with joy. They work hands-on with our residents on a daily basis assisting with any caregiving needs and work under the direction of a licensed nurse. Experience in a Senior Living organization is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care assistance/services as required or instructed
• Observe and report any changes in resident’s physical/emotional condition to the licensed nurse
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors, and co-workers
• Attend a minimum of 12 annual hours of in-service education
• Promote and respect the dignity and well-being of each resident and their family

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 yr of healthcare exp preferred
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Energetic, professional with exceptional interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication & customer service skills
• Detail oriented
• Team-player
• Compassionate understanding of eldercare
