Position Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for helping to develop, coordinate and implement a variety of activities and events for residents at the community while fostering an atmosphere of hospitality and customer service through consistent attention to residents’ needs.
Essential Functions, Key Duties, & Responsibilities
- Assist the department with administrative tasks, including copying, faxing, typing memoranda (monthly calendars), and answering phones on a daily basis.
- Lead and/or assist with group and one on one activity programs.
- Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing and evaluating activities.
- Encourages residents to participate in daily activities.
- Assist residents with transportation to and from activities.
- Complete assessments and progress notes necessary to be compliant with state and federal regulations.
- Attend and participate in meetings such as care plans, in-services, resident counsel and other meetings as needed.
- Assist with volunteer management.
- Maintain a neat and clean environment for residents including feeding and cleaning pets for pet therapy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and procedures and any updates.
Position Requirements
Education: High School Diploma/GED
Licenses/Certifications: N/A
Experience: No experience required, experience in programming/event planning preferred

- Ability to express joy, compassion, and patience toward residents participating in activities
- Ability to generate interest, excitement and enthusiasm about activities and events at the community
