Ensures attractive presentation of food on the plate before serving. - Coordinates and participates in serving food. Monitors portion control to meet residents' requests and minimize waste. - Assists with menu planning; reviews and adjusts menus with Director of Dining Services to accommodate foods in season, vendor sale prices, special events and holidays. - Assists in identifying food and supplies needed for the next week's menus and reports to the Director of Dining Services. Prepares meats for storage and portion control upon delivery; ensures proper storage of all delivered foods and ingredients. - Keep track of and order supplies.
