As an LPN/RN you will:
- Provide direct nursing care to the residents
- Supervise and coordinate the activities performed by the Nursing Assistants to ensure a high degree of quality care is maintained
- Responsible for admission, transfer, and discharge of residents
- Keep physician and/or other health care professionals informed of change in resident conditions
- Supervise Nursing Assistants, may supervise other nurses
- Attend a minimum of 12 annual hours of in-service education
Required skills and qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN program
- LPN or RN license in Indiana
- Recent clinical experience, education, and specialty skills specific to geriatrics
- Must enjoy working with the senior population

"Life Enrichment Assistant I (Activities)
University Place is a vibrant senior living community in West Lafayette, Indiana. University Place is a continuing care retirement community (CCRC), offering a variety of senior lifestyle options including independent living, assisted living, memory support assisted living and skilled nursing/long-term care.
Additionally, the onsite rehabilitation clinic offers inpatient and outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapies, and state-of-the-art programs designed to enhance the quality of life for residents and patients in the local community.
Duties and Responsibilities: Plans, organizes, and leads a variety of activities and functions for residents in groups, one-on-one visits or for specialized needs, as required Provides related activity and assessment data for completion of care plans, MDS, RAPS, triggers and progress notes, as needed or requested Demonstrates initiative to perform expected department tasks independently Maintains cleanliness of supply cart and work areas Assists with transportation of residents for outings, trips and activities, as assigned. Follows safety policies and procedures for transporting residents.
Reports changes in resident’s condition and participation to Director of Life Enrichment. Works collaboratively to meet departmental and facility needs which may require the performance of other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications: Patience and understanding of the senior population Know arts and crafts Assist in developing a weekly recreation calendar based on the resident's recreational interests.

University Place is a continuing care retirement community (CCRC), offering a variety of senior lifestyle options including independent living, assisted living, memory support assisted living and skilled nursing/long-term care. Additionally, the onsite rehabilitation clinic offers inpatient and outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapies, and state-of-the-art programs designed to enhance the quality of life for residents and patients in the local community.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Administers Medication According to Policy and Procedure
- Completes and performs all treatments according to policy standards and physicians orders..
- Provide personal care assistance/services as required or instructed
- Observe and report any changes in resident’s physical/emotional condition to the licensed nurse
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors, and co-workers
- Attend a minimum of 12 annual hours of in-service education
- Promote and respect the dignity and well-being of each resident and their family
Required skills and qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Qualified Medication Aide certification
- One year of caregiving experience
- Day shift schedule, every other weekends and rotating holidays.

Environmental Services Technician I (Housekeeping)

Additionally, the onsite rehabilitation clinic offers inpatient and outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapies, and state-of-the-art programs designed to enhance the quality of life for residents and patients in the local community. We are currently looking for an Environmental Services Technician – House-keeping to join our team! Schedule would be: Days/rotatingweekends/holidays
Duties and responsibilities:
- Maintain the community is in a sanitary, safe, and orderly condition at all times
- Housekeeping tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, buff, polish and clean furniture & equipment etc.
- Provide great customer service to residents, visitors and co-workers
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors, and co-workers
- Promote and respect the dignity and well-being of each resident and their family
Required skills and qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- One year of housekeeping experience
- Day time schedule, including availability to work some weekends and holidays as needed
- Must enjoy working with the senior population
